Keep your kids busy (at least for a little while!) with these fun holiday food activities that the whole family will enjoy.
It's the most wonderful time of year! And with all this holiday excitement, it can be hard to keep your little ones entertained. So we've compiled some fun activities that will keep your kids busy - at least for a little bit!
Kids will learn how to:
Help guide Santa and his Reindeer to your home with magical reindeer dust
Bake gingerbread cookies (and catch them if you can!)
Build a Grinch! But hurry - make sure the Grinch doesn't still all your presents :-)
Download my free guide with 3 different activities. It doesn't matter if your kids are 2 or 12 years old - there's something for everyone (and grown-ups, too!).
The greatest gift of all is to spend Christmas with those you love.

In addition to family fun and getting into the holiday spirit, these activities help support sensory play. I talk a lot about sensory play on my blog and specialize in it in my private practice. Sensory play is such an important part of every aspect of childhood development, including eating! And for picky eating or problem feeding, food-related activities that indirectly expose kids to foods through words, thoughts, feelings, sight, touch, sound, and smell - are great way to help kids safely accept more foods - without meltdowns! Positive interactions help promote a positive, lifelong relationship with food and body.
We hope these activities give you some ideas on how to get your family into the holiday spirit! Wishing all of you a wonderful holiday season full of happy memories with loved ones near or far!
And remember to take care of yourself as well! :-)
